LGR Telecommunications and Teradata formed a global alliance in 2010, bringing together two market leaders within the international communications industry. Working together, LGR and Teradata are able to offer customers an end-to-end solution for Telecom Data Warehouses, combining telco-grade ETL processes with robust, highly scalable data warehouse appliances.

The partnership was forged through LGR’s extensive testing of the Teradata family of data warehouse systems, in which LGR set out to prove technical performance that met or exceeded existing CDRlive production systems. The results exceeded expectations, with the LGR Labs team able to achieve peak loading rates in excess of 200,000 records per second and query response times that were superior to the required benchmarks of a CDRlive system.

LGR and Teradata confirmed their global alliance in the latter part of 2010, with LGR becoming a Teradata Preferred Partner. The two companies are currently teaming on a number of high profile customer engagements in North America and Asia-Pacific.
